Abstract:
Germany has strong digital capabilities, especially in semiconductors, data centres, and quantum technology. However, weak connectivity and digital public services, fragmented responsibilities, and slow implementation continue to limit productivity and competitiveness. Recent government initiatives offer promise, but deeper and faster reforms are needed to achieve lasting improvements.
