Abstract:
This study (N=1,108 Italian adolescents, Mage=15.59) tests a serial mediation where victimization through hate speech predicts lower Personal Belief in a Just World (PBJW) indirectly via increased perceived school unsafety and reduced school well-being; PROCESS Model 6 with 5,000 bootstraps showed a significant indirect effect while the direct effect on PBJW was non-significant, indicating daily school climate experiences mediate hate-speech impacts on adolescents’ justice beliefs
