Abstract:
Introduces an extended Bivariate Generalised Linear IRT (B-GLIRT) framework that jointly models item responses, response times, and item position to capture within-person dynamics in ability and speed during tests. The model includes random effects for item- and person-specific variation, addresses ordinal response accuracy, and examines item-position effects to diagnose skill acquisition and latent speed changes. Discusses estimation, identification, and applications to computer-based assessment data.
