Abstract:
Lo studio esamina come l’intelligenza artificiale, in particolare ChatGPT‑4, possa essere utilizzata per generare materiali didattici inclusivi per l’insegnamento dell’inglese come lingua straniera, con particolare attenzione al linguaggio neutro rispetto al genere. Mostra come un uso accurato del prompt engineering sia fondamentale per ottenere testi equi e rappresentativi, che favoriscano un apprendimento inclusivo sia sul piano linguistico, sia nella rappresentazione e costruzione dei saperi e delle identità.
The study examines how AI, specifically ChatGPT‑4, can be used to generate inclusive English-as-a-foreign-language teaching materials with a focus on gender-neutral language. It shows that careful prompt engineering is essential to obtain fair, representative texts that support inclusive learning both at the linguistic level and in how knowledge and identities are represented and constructed.
