Abstract:
The Postdigital Learner Agency (PLĀ) framework redefines learner agency for hybrid, algorithm-mediated educational environments by integrating relational, spatial, collective, and shared dimensions. Grounded in Social Cognitive Theory, sociocultural perspectives, and postdigital philosophy, PLĀ addresses how agency must adapt in hybrid realities, how sociotechnical systems shape agency, and how equity and resilience can be fostered. Applied across K–12, higher education, and lifelong learning, PLĀ promotes autonomy, adaptability, algorithmic resilience, and inclusive policies to prepare learners for ethical, confident action in complex postdigital contexts.
