Abstract:
This topical collection investigates the ethical and epistemic implications of AI in education—especially LLMs and predictive models—addressing responsibility, intellectual virtues, fairness, inclusion, cognitive offloading, deskilling, digital divides, agency, accessibility and personalization. Contributors argue that AI can both enhance and undermine learning; responsible futures depend on critical, pedagogically informed integration rather than mere adoption.
