The 2nd Midterm Conference (17–18 June 2026, online, CET) explores digital capitalism and AI as a new sociological agenda, with sessions on tech-facilitated violence in intimate relationships, digital distinction and toxicity, the social construction and mediatization of AI, diasporic religion online, platformization and labour precarity, electoral truth and misinformation in the age of AI, aging and anti-fraud apps, and gig and domestic platform work in the Global South.
