The Private Sector Communications Officer, PSP Asia, leads strategic marketing, fundraising communications, and external engagement for UNHCR’s Individual Giving and Private Partnerships and Philanthropy portfolios across Asia and the Pacific. Key responsibilities include supporting donor acquisition and retention, cultivating corporate, foundation, and high-net-worth partnerships, preparing proposals and investment cases, and producing pitch decks, concept notes, donor reports, briefing notes, and senior-management talking points. Working under the Chief of PSP Asia, the officer collaborates with fundraising teams, communications specialists, country operations, regional bureaux, contractors, agencies, donors, and private-sector partners. The position also ensures that communications are accurate, consistent, strategically aligned, compliant with UNHCR standards, and grounded in protection principles. It requires strong coordination, editorial, stakeholder-engagement, and strategic communications skills, as well as occasional international travel of up to 10%.
