Job

The aim of the project is to conduct research into the role of digital technology in social networks and wellbeing of unaccompanied young refugees: children under 18 who arrived in the UK seeking asylum without a parent or legal guardian to care for them. We will investigate this in a multidisciplinary, participatory mixed-methods project. The Research Fellow will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the project, data collection (in-depth interviews, a longitudinal online quantitative survey, and group workshops), qualitative and quantitative data analysis, communication with a wide range of stakeholders and community partners, setting up and managing the project website and social media, attending regular meetings on campus, co-organising events, and developing co-authored publications and presentations.
