Call for Papers "Digitale Souveränität"
Category: Publication
Keywords: Digital sovereignty, sovereign cloud, European data infrastructures, open source, digital strategy, data governance, regulatory compliance, geopolitical dependencies, digital competencies.
The call invites research papers and practical reports on digital sovereignty in business, public administration, and government. It frames sovereignty not as complete digital self-sufficiency, but as the capacity to make independent choices about digital technologies and maintain control over data, systems, and value chains. Contributions may address sovereign cloud and multi-cloud architectures, European data infrastructures and language models, open-source technologies and standards, business strategies and viable business cases, organizational capabilities, regulatory compliance, and the societal and geopolitical implications of digital dependence. A central concern is how organizations can strengthen sovereignty while preserving innovation, interoperability, and efficiency.
