This Research Topic examines Human–AI partnerships as a systemic and relational dimension of higher education. It focuses on how Generative Artificial Intelligence can support teaching, assessment, feedback, and personalised learning while preserving human agency, academic standards, and trust. Contributions may explore classroom practices, teacher roles, student agency, ethical and inclusive AI use, professional development, institutional governance, and policy frameworks. Moving beyond narratives of AI as either a threat or replacement, the Research Topic seeks evidence-based models for sustainable, equitable, and responsible Human–AI collaboration across classroom, curriculum, and institutional levels
