This Collection examines how emerging technologies—especially Generative AI—can be intentionally integrated into active learning methods (PBL, flipped classroom, story- and challenge-based learning) to enhance engagement, personalization, and authentic assessment. The focus is on pedagogy first, showing how technology can scaffold higher-order thinking, metacognition, and inclusive, scalable teaching practices aligned with SDG 4.
