Future Directions in Interactive Digital Narratives Student Research Symposium 2025

This newly-formed symposium invites Master’s and Ph.D students, as well as early career researchers and practitioners to share their visions for the future of Interactive Digital Storytelling. The ARDIN Graduate Research committee recognizes the importance of fostering the ideas of new researchers in our field. We wish to provide a unique opportunity for early-stage researchers to present their most creative and innovative ideas for the discipline they will help to shape in the future. Our hope is that this event will allow for dialogue, growth, and collaboration between both newer and already established researchers in our community. We welcome submissions on (but not limited to): - Interactive Narrative Design, Theory, and Applications - Social and Cultural Contexts - Tools and Systems - VIrtual Worlds, Performance, Games, and Play
