Abstract:
As multicultural societies become increasingly complex due to globalization, migration, and digital interconnectivity, fostering tolerance and social harmony has emerged as a critical societal goal. This study explores the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a catalyst for promoting coexistence in culturally diverse environments. It examines how AI technologies-such as natural language processing, sentiment analysis, predictive analytics, and adaptive learning systems-can be harnessed to monitor public discourse, identify social biases, and support inclusive education and policy-making. The research proposes a multipillar framework for inclusive AI design, emphasizing data diversity, algorithmic transparency, cultural sensitivity, and participatory governance. Case studies from global contexts illustrate both the promise and challenges of AI in addressing discrimination and fostering empathy. The study concludes that while AI is not a panacea, it can serve as a powerful tool for peacebuilding and integration when guided by ethical principles and crosscultural collaboration. This research underscores the importance of developing responsible, human-centered AI systems that reflect and respect the diversity of the societies they serve.
