Abstract:
In an increasingly interconnected and culturally diverse world, fostering intercultural understanding and peaceful coexistence has become both a moral imperative and a societal necessity. This research explores the design of AI-driven frameworks aimed at enhancing tolerance, empathy, and mutual respect across multicultural communities. By integrating applications such as natural language processing, sentiment analysis, adaptive education systems, and inclusive content curation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be strategically leveraged to identify social biases, counter misinformation, and promote inclusive narratives. The study proposes a multi-pillar framework grounded in ethical AI principles, cultural sensitivity, and participatory governance. Case studies from global contexts-ranging from digital education to social media moderation-demonstrate the potential of AI to act as a facilitator of intercultural dialogue and social cohesion. However, challenges such as algorithmic bias, data inequality, and lack of accountability mechanisms highlight the need for robust policy frameworks and collaborative oversight. The findings affirm that with responsible design and cross-sector cooperation, AI can play a transformative role in building inclusive and peaceful societies.
